娘が産まれ、夜泣きや授乳で暗い寝室の中にいる時に見た、明るい部屋から壁を這うようにつたってくる光のグラデーションから着想。かつて私がいてもうそこには戻れない部屋からの光を眺める絶望感から、ここからしか気付けない美しい光景までをグラデーションとして現した。
 
This work is inspired by my own experience of being in the bedroom where I was preparing my baby to feed and sleep. What I saw was the gradation of light from the bright room creeping along the wall of the dark room. At that moment, the bright room became a symbolic place that I used to belong to, but which I was no longer a part of. Arising from this sense of hopelessness, I produced a path back to this beautiful scene of the past by a gradation of light representing the range of emotion.
